A Song About The Suffering Servant (Part 2)

In sermon two of this series we see how the Jews who murdered God’s son suddenly come to realize who He is, and what they have done. They then sing about the innocence of God’s Servant, and how that although He is dead and buried, the Father will “prolong His days,” which is a statement of His eternal nature. The song ends with the Father’s declaration that the Servant has accomplished His mission, and that through His sacrifice salvation in made available to all.
